Brave Digital Ventures, LLC (“HeyJessica,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates heyjessica.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when signing up, including:

Your name and email address (account holder / adult child)
Your parent or loved one’s name, phone number, and time zone
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

We also collect information generated through use of the service:

Conversation transcripts between Jessica and your parent
Mood indicators and response patterns
Call duration and frequency data

How We Use Your Information

To provide the HeyJessica companion service
To personalize Jessica’s conversations with your parent
To send you alerts and weekly summaries about your parent’s wellbeing
To process billing and manage your subscription
To improve our service over time

Conversation Data

Conversations between Jessica and your parent are stored securely and are accessible only to the account holder (you). We do not sell, share, or use conversation content for advertising purposes. Conversation data may be used in aggregate, anonymized form to improve Jessica’s responses.

SMS Communications

Your parent’s phone number is used solely to deliver HeyJessica check-in messages. We obtain explicit opt-in consent from your parent before sending any messages. Your parent may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For full SMS terms, see our SMS Terms & Conditions.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — for payment processing
Twilio — for SMS and voice call delivery
Hume AI — for voice conversation processing
OpenAI — for SMS conversation generation
Brevo — for email delivery
Supabase — for secure data storage

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation data is retained for 12 months by default. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing jessica@heyjessica.ai.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, HTTPS for all communications, and access controls to protect your information.

Children’s Privacy

HeyJessica is designed for adults (18+) and their senior family members. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at jessica@heyjessica.ai.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes via email.
